Our Active Hydroxyl Technology replicates a natural process that occurs in our atmosphere. It generates hydroxyl radicals — highly reactive molecules often called “nature’s self-cleaning agents.” These molecules actively seek out and neutralise airborne and surface-based contaminants, including mould spores, bacteria and viruses. Unlike harsh chemical treatments, hydroxyls are safe for use in occupied spaces, making the technology ideal for homes, rental properties and sensitive environments.

Hydroxyl radicals attack mould at the molecular level, bonding with spores and breaking them down into harmless base elements. Because they’re microscopic, hydroxyls can reach into every nook, cranny and airspace in a home — going where manual cleaning or passive filtration systems can’t. This active, continuous process ensures tenants can continue to live safely within their homes whilst repair work is scheduled and carried out.

However when it comes to your home, for maximum purification coverage and performance, we recommend placing it in a central location such as a hallway, landing or open-plan living area. There’s no need to position it right next to a mould source — the beauty of our active purification technology is that it spreads throughout an entire property (up to 1500 square feet).
